British Columbia is set to notify women of their breast density on October 15th, 2018.
Breast density notification is new to Canada.
The Canadian Partnership Against Cancer has asked Dense Breasts Canada (DBC) to share our recommendations on what to tell women and how to tell them about their breast density. Your input will help form the recommendations that will be put forward by DBC’s medical advisor, Dr. Paula Gordon, to the leadership of provincial screening programs.
DBC will also be involved in a working group set up by BC Cancer to design and test educational content and strategies. This survey will take approximately 3 minutes to complete. Responses are anonymous.
